Jeewan Mala Hospital providing state of art health care facility to all economic segments of the society was the brain child of the great surgeon – Late Dr. Bodh Raj Sabharwal.  Started in 1920 in Pakistan Jeewan Mala Hospital is one of the oldest registered multi speciality hospitals situated in the heart of the city, on the main New Rohtak Road.

The hospital was the first to initiate MIS (minimal invasive surgeries).It was the first to institute laparoscopic surgery in North India way back in 1990. Almost all surgeries now are done through minimal access in the hospital. 
 
Jeewan Mala   is the only Hospital in North India to be recognized under FOGSI Mumbai (federation of Obs and Gynae society of India) and IMA (Indian medical association) academy of medical sciences for  giving training in Gynae laparoscopic surgeries. Future trajectory

In future, the management sees the hospital growing in geographical reach, in scope of services and facilities provided, and our current investment strategy and initiatives are geared to realize this vision.
The hospital plans to enter the academic section of the medical field by starting DNB courses.

Jeewan Mala plans to introduce various other departments that include a fully self equipped Cardiac Cath-Lab, an IVF centre and also plans to introduce certain machines in the diagnostic department of the hospital.
